Matrix / Grid - Single Select - Buttons

Prerequisite:

• Before reading this article, please read the article on how to create a "Matrix / Grid - Single Select Question" as this article builds on what is covered in that article.

Step 1

• As a first step, create a standard Matrix / Grid question as we did in the above mentioned article. 
• Once completed, you should have a question that looks like this, when previewed.

Step 2

• Now we will edit this question to apply the necessary settings to make it a matrix button question. 
• Open the question and click on the "Edit" icon to open the editor:

Step 3

• When the editor opens, click on the "Settings" icon to access the settings for this question:

Step 4

In the settings screen, make the following changes:

1. Uncheck the "Show Grid Titles"
2. Check "Hide Radio / Checkboxes"
3. Click "Save"

Done!

Now when you preview this question, it should look like this example:

Note: the colors for hovering over each cell and spacing of the grid can be modified in the Look & Feel module to meet your branding requirements.
