Textbox Question
A textbox question is used to collect a single line of content from the respondent. It can be configured to collect the following type of data:
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Text only
- Numbers only
- Number range
- Postal / Zip Code
- Custom - specify the format of the input you require
Important Note: Textboxes and Open-ends are different question types for different purposes. Textboxes are used for a specific single entry content, while Open-end questions are used to collect multiple lines or verbose comments from the respondent, e.g.: describing their experience the last time they used your services.
Follow these steps to create a Textbox Question:
Step 1
- Open or create a new survey
- While in the survey editor, click on "New Question", then select the "Textbox" question to add it to your survey

Step 2
- Enter your question text
- Enter a label that will show next to the textbox
- Then click save

All done!
Your new textbox question is ready, when you preview it should look similar to this example below:
